Why don't you just make your point instead of handing out reading assigments?

My point is that Republicans should read and learn from this disaster in California and learn. The Taliban purists within the Republican Party are killing the party. This country needs a two party system ... at least two parties. History around the world teaches that any country that ends up with one party in power too long becomes a very corrupt country. None of us want that!

Isn't this where we are right now?

Why are you more concerned about some hypothetical future death of the Republican Party while we currently have a Democrat Party in control of the federal governement that is killing our country?

They are spending us into the poor house.

They are again raising the debt ceiling to over $12,000,000,000,000

The in excess of $1,000,000,000,000 budget that they just passed is swimming in earmarks.

And yet none of what is happening right now seems to concern you in the least.

Seems like libbies need to be more concerened with how their own party is imploding and has lost the confidence of the American people.

As I said, read the article and learn. One line cute answers from ignorance will not help.

Why don't you address my response which was on topic?

If you have a point to make why don't you just make it instead of continuing to hand out reading assignments?

Read some history, say like modern Mexico or Burma or China, and then perhaps you will understand my comment and why we are not yet a nearly as corrupt as countries where one party had control for many, many years. However, if the Taliban mentality of some Republicans do, indeed, kill the Republican party ... then we will be in danger of that happening here.

I tell you to read because you will not agree with me. But perhaps if you read you may learn and understand. Why are you afraid to read?

The Democrats are in control now.

Why do you not have this concern about corruption now?

I read what I choose when I see a purpose to it - not whatever you tell me to.

    Agee with you on what?

This is typical of your theads. "Read this" "Interesting"

    BUT NO POINT.

I can find all sorts of thing to read on the internet - I don't need reading assingments from you.

How about making a piont just once?

His point is that Republicans are not diverse enough. They should accept everyone into the party. What he refuses to admit is the end effect would be that it would result in nothing more than two party's with the same agenda.

He of course refers to the "taliban mentality" because he is angry that conservatives will not bow to his and every other far left wing nut cases marxist world agenda. But when scripture is just "another book" to him it is not surprising this is his depraved world philosophy. But someone who does not know how to live without government taking care of him and supports abortion has no moral or political grounding. Such is at the bottom of the depravity pit.

I find it ironic that he feigns concern about the Republicans supposedly killing the Republican party but has no concern about the Democrats actually killing the country.

CTB, how about you entering into the discussion a litte more than just telling us to read some article?

You are concerned about one party being in power because it leads to corruption.

For all practical purposes we currently have one party in power - and they are showing corruption.

The just passed another enormous budget busting bill - filled with earmarks.

Would you consider voting for Republicans next time just to make sure that the Democrats don't gain too much control of the governement and to reign in on the Democrat corruption?

The question should be to CTB, "Why are you afraid to be truthful?"

You ought to be ashamed of yourself, comparing some Republicans to the Taliban.

You show either a stunning ignorance of what the Taliban has done, or a stunning lack of honesty to portray these Republicans as if they had. Maybe both.

When our Republicans begin to stone women for dressing a certain way, or blowing themselves up in crowded marketplaces, then you can get back to me.

Sheesh. You are aware you are called on as a Christian to be truthful...right? You might want to revisit that forgotten directive.

    Why?

You have given us no reason.

You are not the reading specialist teacher here.

Try actually engaging in the discussion.

I have made several points - you have ignored them all.

because if he can point to you not having read the entire article he can feel justified in not answering your reasonable posts. More dishonesty.

    Why?

I don't know what country you think that you are king of but you will have to give me more of a reason than just your command.
