TSA is over reacting. Welcome to the world of free press. People leak stuff, many journalists feel they are obligated to report it.

Happens all the time with governmental stuff.

This made me recall an incident that supposedly happened in England just prior to the D-Day invasion.

Seems that Ike was getting upset with the reporters that were calling a lot of the military moves prior to the actual event. Not intentionally leaking secrets, but just very good at looking at the facts and drawing the correct conclusions.

Well, since the invasion had to be kept under wraps for obvious reasons, Ike came up with a plan.

He invited ALL the reporters to the planning/briefing stages of the operation, and after the first session made his fateful announcement.

"All of you are now privy to top secret military information. Therefore if one word of any stripe of this operation is leaked to any of your papers, you most definitely will be charged with TREASON!"

Wonder what we, as a country, would be like now if TREASON were taken as seriously as it was in mid40's - especially by the press??????????????:tear:
