58% Favor Waterboarding of Plane Terrorist To Get Information

I don't believe anything as drastic as "waterboarding" would be required to get this kid to talk. Conventional interrogation would probably do the trick.

Unfortunately, Obama's instructions to the justice department for the handling of terrorists precludes any interrogation more agressive that pretty please? and may I?.

So, chances are, he'll be easily convicted, but we'll get nothing substantial that will help us in the fiture.

I don't find the information(if Rasmussen is correct) that 58% of my fellow citizens want this country reduced to the level of a third world military junta to be anything to crow about.

 

3rd degree only works when the police already know the answers to the questions they ask. It is the same principle of a lawyer not asking a witness on the stand a question unless he knows what the guy will say.

They should use mutilation, torture, and removal of body parts. After we have all the info we want and/or need, he should be beheaded and his head put on a website and his body dragged through the streets.

I guess waterboarding, which does no actual physical damage to the person, is just way too harsh to use in light of that. Would tickling him be too inhuman? Make him go to bed without supper? Stand in a corner?

The way I see it, he attempted to murder several hundred people both in the plane and on the ground. He gave all his rights then and there. Do whatever needs to be done and be done with it.

Now if this had been a chartered flight of those of the $exually deviant persuasion, you can rest assured that the media would have had this yokel drawn, quartered, and hung out to dry before he could say "MIRANDA", and the administration would have been on his case like ugly on a wart-hog; sorta like the "0" did with the policeman investigating the "break-in" at the Harvard prof's house a few months ago.

I seriously doubt that waterboarding would have been questioned - maybe even encouraged - in this instance.
