Illegal immigration

Which is exactly how I used it...as a noun. I purposely did not use the verb form, but I do feel it is silly to let a group co-opt a perfectly good word.

Unfortunately for you however it is the TEA PARTY.

PARTY not BAG.

Surprising that something that simple was able to get by you. :)

Wonder how many of the tea party folk actually drink tea. Hmmmm, wonder if they use tea bags or if they are purists and simply throw some tea leaves in their cup and pour hot water in. Now a real purist would get an old pint canning jar and throw the tea leaves in it, pour in the water, take a sip ... and then being conservative screw down the lid until they want another sip.

I did say party. But are these not the yayhoos who where wearing tea bag earrings and mailing teabags to congress?

Sorry friend, but you need to go back and look at post 5.

I read the linked one, but again friend, you are myopic in your view of the bigger picture. I was referring to people like my former congressman, Tom Tancredo, who's xenophobic speech at the recent Tea Bag convention echoes the thoughts of many who do blame illegal immigrants for the country's ills.

Okay, you got me. I meant to (and thought) I had written Tea Bag Party Convention. Point to Targus.

As I already pointed out to you, it is TEA PARTY.

You insist on continuing in the tea bag business because you are aware of the alternative meaning behind the word - in some circles anyway.

Perhaps it is habit that causes you to say it?

I don't travel in such circles. And again, it was these folks who were wearing tea bags and mailing them to Congress. I doubt they were aware of such things either.
