Is this incredible thing in heavens a sign from God?

Typical WND pap. The universe is full of beautiful sights, as Hubble has revealed to us. To say it is a sign is like ancient people being frightened by a solar eclipse as a sign of impending doom.

Thanks - '0' is too close to '9' on the keyboard :)

When I do that (a thousand times a day), it's because my fingers and my brain are both flying at breakneck speed, but not at the same tempo. Ha!

I hit the backspace key more than any other key on my keyboard!

One of many fabulous pictures from Hubble that blow the mind. Certainly, they point us toward the Creator but an end times sign it is not.

Or modern people frightened by a melting glacier.

I don't think we need or need to desire signs. According to Matthew 12v30 who seeks after those things?

Lu*21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

We are told many times by Jesus to watch for the signs of His return. This is not the same seeking of signs that He rebuked the Pharisees for.

That's right. Christ had already performed many signs and wonders, but the Pharisees wanted one of their own choosing.

And an unknown meteor like object is a Biblical sign of His coming?

I'll stay where I have always been - I believe that His return has been imminent since John wrote - 'Even so come Lord Jesus.'

You were saying that seeking a sign was being evil and adulterous.

That's not what Christ was saying. To paraphrase it: No sign will be given to an evil and adulterous generation when it demands one, except the sign of Jonah.

But in saying that this particular phenomenon is nothing your are correct.

I'm saying it could be. Jesus said there would be signs in the heavens before His return, so I believe there will be. Is this particular phenomenon in the OP a sign from God? I don't know, but I can't rule it out and believe God at the same time.
