Of course, this can't be Obamacare's fault. To even think that...man, I msut be a flaming racist.

From the article:

The new federal health-care law has raised the stakes for hospitals and schools already scrambling to train more doctors.
Experts warn there won't be enough doctors to treat the millions of people newly insured under the law. At current graduation and training rates, the nation could face a shortage of as many as 150,000 doctors in the next 15 years, according to the Association of American Medical Colleges.

Get ready for more of this. With absolutely no reforms with regards to tort reform (keep in mind, the Dems are in bed with trial lawyers)...and no effort made to allow healthcare across state lines (once again...the dems had no desire to improve the healthcare issue...if things were better, they couldn't take over the system!), there will be a severe doctor shortage. All the more incentive for the socialist party of Amerika to completely take over the Healthcare system (read: "Public option," or full-bore socialized medicine).

I can't believe that American citizens actually elected such a crop of freedom-averse, dictatorial bags of filth to run our country. God help us.

So is the answer:

a. Keep insured people down to the number of doctors we have.
b. Let the free market take care of it, as people realize there is a career in demand in healthcare.

In the free market system the effects of demand are inhibited when government gets in the way as it has in health care. It matters not how many people need care of Doctors do not receive just compensation.

Mixing capitalism and socialism is like oil and water. They don't mix well. If government is going to interfere with doctor compensation then government needs to send doctors to school at no cost to them and remove all liability from their shoulders.

If government interferes with compensation but leaves all financial responsibility on doctors then we will lose doctors.
