First two chapters of Job explains that the universe is a board game between God and Satan.

Are you suggesting that the physical nature of matter and its operation in regards to anti-matter is no more than a board game between God and Satan? I consider this relationship between matter and anti matter to both be part of how God designed the universe rather than applying a spiritual interpretation to it.

How am I a troll? I'm reporting on an article that discusses why the universe hasn't cancelled itself out by the nature of its operation at a very minute level. It doesn't question whether God did it or not but rather how intricate God's design is. You're the one suggesting that God and Satan have a chess game going on. Which indicates you believe they are contemporary powers with just as much chance of winning as the other. Which proposition is 1) not christian 2)has more the earmarks of trolling than anything I posted. 3) Shows eastern influence in your theology.

No. You misunderstood. Billwald is the troll. BIG troll.

    Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

The universe hasn't canceled itself out because God holds it together.

How can Satan be in the game if everything was predestined by God ... assuming the Calvinists are correct?

A terrible misunderstanding of Job and divine sovereignty.

    well back to the OP...;)

Thanks for the link I like reading this stuff. Its important stuff too btw.

Honestly I think the more we demonstrate how miraculously our existence arose out of an infinitely complex universe is just more proof of the activity of a divinely center being who is the first cause of it all. :)

here's a quote from the article:
Yeah I think this all boils down to two A/V club members in a room making up stuff...;)

OH. I guess most of those guys that I knew were the dungeons and dragons guys that skipped the audio visual club to play D&D and spoke about things I had no idea about like Muons. They also liked Star Trek.

    >How can Satan be in the game if everything was predestined by God ... assuming the Calvinists are correct?

Old saying, "Assuming makes a ass out of you and I?"

I have a thesis that God is not obligated to use all his powers and has built random factors into this universe that he created. After all, Jesus set aside his magical powers and prayed to God thru the Holy Spirit . . . choosing to be human in all things as we are.

Jesus doesn't possess "magical powers." Jesus is God, not some magician or sorcerer.

Furthermore, Jesus laid aside His glory that He had with the Father before the world began, not His power as God. In Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

When God through Moses confronted Pharoah's magicians they both did the same sort of thing but Moses did it better.

Super\supranatural powers is (I believe) the proper usage not magical in reference to the Triune Godhead.

It is only natural that billwald would choose the word "magical"... being a troll himself.
