earthquake

I was doing housework this morning when a earthquake gave me quite a scare. The omnious sound of a convoy of trucks usually precedes such an event. The china rattled and my nerves as well. No evident aftershocks however.raying:

It is called the shakey isles for good reason. Almost daily ripples, but under the 5.0 mark on the scale one does not usually feel them. Before I came over to NZ I had never experienced one in my 50 years.:tonofbricks:
