Do you agree this girl should be kicked off the cheerleader squad

Too bad she isn't black, Jewish or muslim. Then the squad would be forced to change the cheer.

Of course this girl should not have been kicked off the squad.

"The cheer coach, in her sixth year, started the junior cheer league. She says explaining the controversy to the rest of the squad was difficult and asked Fayleen not to return for the last two games."

If the cheer coach truly thought that the cheer was appropriate for these young girls it would not have been difficult at all to explain it to the rest of the squad.

I don't think kicking her off was the right move, but any parent with an IQ at ALL knows what cheerleading is about. I was pretty shocked when I realized they have cheerleaders so young. I myself cheered in high school. The FIRST thing out of my mouth was "this skirt goes above the top of my rear!" The male coach laughed and said "then it fits perfect!"

That's what cheerleading basically is. You wear as skimpy clothes as possible and look GOOD for the guys. You motivate them and you motivate the crowd, and there's not an honest soul out there who won't agree that there's a good degree of sexuality thrown in the mix.

I'm not dumb enough to believe that the parent would put their kid in a tiny little skirt in a sport known for being sexy and then really get all shocked and amazed when the kids do a cheer about shaking their bums.

Duh!

It is a shame that she is so proud of her fornication now made public. Even going so far a making a video of her condition. The coach is now the bad guy and she is a victim. The only thing I would say is that the coach should have been more open and honest about why she cannot play even if it costs him his job. The total lack of morals today is rampant because the church has become tasteless.
I agree with Gina. This activity is sexual suggestively in practice. While I know it goes on big time, for the life of me cannot understand how any parent (father) would allow his daughter to be part of this type of activity where his daughter flaunts her body, especially someone who claims to be a Christian.
