Free birth control pills

Sen Barbara Mikulski, D-Md, wants birth control to be free under Obama Care.

Does that bother anybody?

Last time I checked, birth control is already free at certain low-income health clinics. I've personally witnessed teen boys getting it and teen girls getting free monthly packets of the Pill. Surely Planned Parenthood won't admit this was all given in vain? GASP. I guess people are still making babies regardless of free birth control.

I say it is a good idea because despite 2000 years of trying, Christians have not been able to regulate human behavior except in very small, short-lived circumstances. Apparently even the Pope has concluded that condoms are OK for prostitutes for the purpose of limiting the spread of AIDS, etc.

If human behavior can't be controlled there are good social and economic reasons to make it easier for children NOT to have children. Everyone on this list must know at least one reason. If you don't know at least one reason, 'fess up and someone will 'splain you.

I support clean needles free drugs, and a free place away from civilized people where they can self-destruct. I propose a doper town half way between Reno and Las Vegas. The land isn't good for anything but dopers and nuke tests. Maybe at the same time and place.

I'm all for free condoms. Withholding them will not change hearts. Distributing will save unborn lives.

Distribution of clean needles (to women) will save unborn lives as many of them would have babies who are addicts and/or with AIDS or other disease at birth.
