...but in the name of intellectual honesty, one must abandon Janet Napolitano's ridiculous argument of, "Hey, if you don't like it, you don't have to fly."
Why? Because the same "security theater" is being expanded, or hinted at expansion, to other venues: Courthouses, train stations, bus, metro, etc...

My point: Now, the same argument would have to be..."You don't like it? Don't travel. You don't like it? Don't conduct legal business."
Once again...it doesn't have to be a question of security vs. no security...but at some point, a tipping point is reached.
You can make other arguments to support these "security" measures...but "you don't like it? You don't have to __________" will no longer hold water. When our basic day-to-day activities become subject to security theater, then we no longer have an option. Most of us can refrain from flying. That number drops the more scanners, and TSA-type security theater we consider adding.
