Some suggestions for Obama on how to deal with "Wiki Leaks"

2. Use the TSA solution at all federal building access points- full body scan and perverted pat-down.

3. Give Biden the job of sniffing out the leaks- he is under-utilized as is.

4. Have Hillary and Bill sleep in separate bedrooms.

5. Appoint an Information Czar (if they don't have one already- if they do, give the job to Pelousy to get her out of Congress).

You are, of course, not considering that either Biden, Pelosi, or Clinton may be the source of the leaks... Just think of what Biden has to gain should Obama get himself removed. I was, of course, speaking TIC and am fully aware that the 'unholy trinity' that you mentioned may be the culpable ones. Wouldn't surprise me to see Obama be a 'sacrificial lamb'.

I would say that the problem is with back stabbing and being two faced and the need to clean up their act. Personally I do not have the problem with these leaks as some do. I don't see this as all bad. Problematic yes, but all bad no. I think it really shows the character of our politicians, at least some of them.

The leaks are bad, not for the info they share, but rather that there are subversive persons working within our government.

The REAL name for that is "traitor" and the punishment by Constitution is the death penalty.

Let's not forget for an instant that the same pressures that have existed since the advent of human government are still in play. Someone wishes to take control of the USA just like they did Rome in the ancient world. We seem to have some sort of, "Aw shucks, we're the USA, no one would try to take us..." attitude in play. That same thought process is what lost Jerusalem, Rome, Athens, et al, down through the ages.

I understand what you are saying, but I disagree as to why those nations fell. I believe that God removed them. They fell because of their sin, and nothing else. The US will also fall in my opinion for the same reasons. Our leaders are no longer able to make sound judgments as to how to lead this nation because not only the politicians, but the nation as a whole has departed from God and His standards. With that I am not condoning act of treason, but I would say what is treason to one is patriotism to another and since I am not sure who released these documents or for why I have not come to a decision as to what to call it.

I am not suggesting that we were ever a Christian nation, but I am saying that as a nation we once based many of our governing standards on God's commands. No longer is this being done, in fact it is not even being done in most churches for the most part. Now what is left is mostly lip service and plagues. Today it is acceptable to be a liar as long as the lie can be justified in the mind of the liar and a few of his/her friends and that is just the tip of the iceburg. So while I see that there is some damaging areas in the releases I do not find it all to be bad. The good would be if these corrupt politicians learned a lesson from this. Every other nation already knows most of the things that are being released and does the same thing. It is the public that now also knows what the world politicians already know or suspect.

However, I was speaking in terms of our secular national service, the biblical direction for such being established in Romans 13 and by Jesus who was not facetious when He said to, "give to Caesar what is Caesar's and give to God what is God's..." One of our God-given trusts or responsibilities is to participate in our government, and it is to the extent that God's people have abdicated that responsibility that we find ourselves with leaders who will give away the store, so to speak.

Do I think that God will remove America? Yup. However, probably not because of any judgment. But rather because God will do what God will do to bring about His plan, whether we like it or not. Stating the demise of our nation in terms of God's judgment indicates that we can, somehow, live up to God's standards and laws, and that when we don't we become part of the set "punished." That is a good OT thought, but not in keeping with the grace of God that exists for sinner and saint alike. What makes your idea about America falling because of God's judgment a non-starter in my book is that nations who are in deadly sin will be the ones that ultimately pull us down. Why does God not judge them equally? It just doesn't play as part of a this = that equation, but it does play as part of God's movement throughout history to get us to the Last Day and the ultimate judgment for all humankind.

I do not see this as serious as some would like to make it out. The fact that some of our lying, scheming, backstabbing, politicians are embarrassed is the major problem. Is this going to cause some difficulties in diplomacy? Perhaps for a while, but like Hilary Clinton stated in talking to other nations about this some have told her that they say far worst things about us then were leaked in these reports.
Also none of this was Top secret stuff. Classified yes but mostly because of the slander and backbiting against some of our allies. The world is not coming to an end because of this and this will bring good.

Now for the guy that leaked this stuff if proven guilty he needs some serious time, 10 years or so,no more, but his actions are not on the level of treason unless he admits that was his intent in such case the death panalty would be in order. Oran's Dictionary of the Law (1983) defines treason as "...[a]...citizen's actions to help a foreign government overthrow, make war against, or seriously injure the [parent nation]." This has not happened! Injured, perhaps some but not seriously , but yes the two faced politicians have had their toes stepped on and that too will pass without any real damage. In fact I would have to ask why were there no precautions in place to keep this from happening if this stuff was so secret? There is enough blame to go around and this will all pass.

Well I would not suggest that the government should not have secrets or we should know everything that goes on with them. I am saying however that this is not as bad as some are trying to make it. The government as well as individuals have been embarrassed and now want blood. To get it they are blowing this all out of proportion and even willing to twist or break laws to get that blood
Now they know that they are vulnerable they will tighten up security, but they need to back off some because even though those posting the leaks are not doing good and the one who gave the leaks did not do good the government and the individuals involved in the backbiting and slander was not doing good either. I hope they are learning the right lesson.
