What on earth is going on lately with all this?! These were long-term employees too, so how many others were possibly abused?

Thankfully she had an involved parent who took the time and effort to find a way for this child's situation to come to light.

Just imagine what goes on with children who can't express themselves AND do not have family who would care enough to do these things and ensure the safety and well-being of the child.

Humans are horrible to each other. What a sad statement this makes about the state of the human heart and mind.

I know of several long-term employees , that we had to fire, due to to inappropriate relationships involving their own charges. People who had everyone fooled.

You say it all in the last statement.

Can't add anything to it. I have a step bro. and a Nephew who are autistic. And, if my nephew had been left soiled, well, you've heard of autistic explosions... He'd been up on charges.

Both are doing quite well these days. With the Nephew, under the right teachers, making straight "A"'s and he is pretty much *the* computer wiz.

But, he still has his withdrawn days, and they can be *very* scary.

    This so sick!

It's pretty hard to get lower than to abuse an autistic child. I fear to think of what these two monsters might have been doing to other children for years.

Our son is autistic/aspergers syndrome, as they cannot determine to which side he falls definitively.

I could not get the video to play. It sounds tragic for sure.

We feel God has brought our now 11 month old daughter to us, and to and for our son, in our middle age, to help our son when we are no longer around, of course this is assumption, but we feel this way.

These two have the best time playing. Our son, now 10, truly loves and adores her, and she him. It's just something I wanted to share with you all. We are so grateful to God for this gift he has given us.

    - Blessings

When I was attending the University of Houston I became interested in Autism. Almost all the papers I wrote for my psychology classes dealt with Asperger syndrome or autism. During this time I substituted quite a bit in special needs classes which had autistic children enrolled. For some reason God gave me a real love for these children. If I were thirty years younger, I would have pursued a career in this field. Take good care of that diamond God has entrusted you with.

He is a diamond for sure! The things he can't grasp, that we take for granted is amazing, and can be frustrating at times, as he is intelligent in so many ways, and the grasping things can come and go, he can learn one thing, then lose it. It's a mystery. That boy sure does have lots of love to give, and he certainly loves his new sister. When we first brought her home, he saw how tiny she was, stopped, looked, then left the room. We laughed!!!

    Thanks brother!

Yes this is most concerning. There is no question based on the report that these teachers need to be terminated and never allowed to teach again, but it has nothing to do with the child's handicap. This is totally about being abusive and the same end result (teachers fired) should be same no matter the child's mental condition.

The fact is these low-life teachers probably wouldn't do the things to other students like they did here. They were counting on the fact that this child would not be unable to communicate the abuse. In my opinion, this makes this more severe.

Robert because of the strong warning from the Lord on judging (looking down on) someone and calling them a name like "low-life" I don't think I can be party to such. Also I am not sure what the reasons were of these two and finally this is a little one sided since I have not read their response. However I do however believe that they should be dismissed and never teach again if these things are true.

I want to say that when I initially read this post, concerning what they did and to whom, to me it didn't really matter about the childs autism. It doesn't matter the state of the child, it's clearly wrong no matter the childs condition. Period.
