Obama, McCain, Palin...
We would be much better off if none of the above had been on the ballot the last time around.
Grin. I agree again.

Uh, did you actually read the Palin Canadian birth certificate? Her middle name as Khruchehev? The response in 2a is "You-bet-cha?" #5 is "God no!" When asked if she was legitimate it says, "Yes, at this time." And Marks/afflictions says "Winking." And Godfather is listed as "Theodore (Ted) Stevens" the late senator from Alaska? And it is witnessed by "John McCain?"Sarah Palin ... so far I have not been able to find a birth certificate for her from Idaho. There is one from Canada with her name on it. If that is valid, it would mean she was actually born in Canada, and thus not eligible in to be on the ballot in Arizona.
Since this has no constitutional basis I take it you would call for an amendment to the Constitution to make this law?
If necessary.
Humour warning....
How much of this is because you fear my son would be too much like me?
What is a birther bill?
Any bill passed by any state which requires proof that a candidate meets the constitutional requirements to hold the office of the President before being allowed on the ballot in that state.
None at all, Roger. I'm threatened by everyone younger than me, doncha know?
Why would that be called a birther bill?
"Birther" is a derogatory term which Obama supporters have coined for citizens that believe that Obama should produce his birth certificate to demonstrate that he meets the consitutional requirement to hold the office of President.
They have expanded the term to now include any bill proposed by states to ensure that a candidate is constitutionally qualified to hold the office prior to being allowed on the ballot in those states.
Hey, Targus - I think someone's already got CTB's number....So the op was intended to demonize those who want legitimate standards for Presidential candidates rather than just disagree with them with a reasonable argument?

Even if you don't agree with his policies or politics, Obama is our President. As we have to respect that. If he wasn't an US citizen, he wouldn't be our President if you stop and think about it.
