    "MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Some members of the State Employees Union are warning businesses in Wisconsin to either support collective bargaining for public employees or face a boycott."

    Someone please explain to me how this is right.

    It's not any more wrong than an organization like Focus on the Family organizing boycotts. A boycott is entirely capitalistic. I have no problem with it.

    Be interesting to see how dedicated they are when it comes to having to drive across the state line to buy gas/groceries/clothes/get medical attention etc. For a lot of them, this could be very disruptive to a serene life ---???!!!

    This attitude is exactly why "lawyering" is so prevalent in our society - GREED/SELF/"I WANT WHAT I WANT, AND I WANT IT NOW."

    Focus on the Family boycotts specific businesses for specific practices they find objectionable. These are businesses which want to stay out of the controversy. Is that proper reason to threaten them?

    It's akin to the Mob heavy who walks into a mom-and-pop business, looks around, comments that they have a nice place, and then tells them that it's going to cost them to keep it that way. If they don't pay up, bad things will happen.

    ...Or how they react if small businesses in their communities fail, close the doors, and more people are unemployed? Especially in some of the smaller towns where it's felt more acutely.
