This may not be news to others, but it to me so I though I might pass it on for those who are behind in the news as myself.
Utah legislators want to see the dollar regain its former glory, back to the days when one could literally bank on it being "as good as gold...

And I'm sure it's only a coincidence that Utah has large gold and silver deposits...

If that is what it is then Minnesota, North Carolina, Idaho, and at least nine other states looking into thiis all must have the same large gold and silver deposits you are refering to.

You can use chicken eggs for money if you can convince your neighbors to accept them.

The only difference is that one can use gold or silver to pay Utah taxes and utilities. They going to have an assayer in every office?
