As an unofficial arm of the Democrat party, by the unions getting involved the Democrat party has co-opted and taken over the Wall Street Protest.

It is not a grass roots movement now, if it ever was, and is just another re-elect Obama campaign tool that will be supported by the mainstream media as if it were something real.

    Touche.

You can see that what's important in this is taking the focus off of Obama's share of responsibilty for the economy and putting it on the evil greedy rich, right?

I am not sure how others see this but I see this President as holding great responsibility because of how he has been irresponsible with the greedy. He will not deal with them so now the people are rising up in protest.

It's just another bunch of ignorant and idealistic college students and ne'er-do-wells who have no idea what they are doing.

How is the president (as much as I dislike that man), supposed to "deal" with people being greedy with their own stuff? They have a RIGHT to be greedy with their own stuff. Its theirs. Not saying it is morally right, but its none of the government's business.

I am not talking about what is theirs. I am talking about taking government money intended to be used to keep the economy strong and use it to add to ones already riches with bonuses. I could care less what they do with money that have honestly and legally earned.

If the government money was intended to be used to keep the economy strong then the loan agreement between the banks and the government should have been specific in how it was to be used.

Instead, as usual, the government just ran out throwing money around willey nilley.

BTW how do you know that the bonuses did not come out of honest and legal profits?

This is where the President and congress failed in not spelling out conditions, but just because the government was lacking in their responsibility does not justify what these greedy banks and wall street did. They knew what it was intended for and miss-used it because they knew they could get away with it. All involved are guilty. The President and the congress all need to be booted out and replaced.

do not let the word "bonuses" fool you. The CEO's did not get a large salary plus a bonus. the Bonus was was their main compensation package. It is the way the industry incentives results.

So you think that the money that went to the banks was used to pay bonuses?

    If so, you are incorrect.

Any bonuses came out of profits.

The money that you are concerned about was simply reinvested rather than loaned out to bowwers.

Can't say as I blame the banks too much for that decision considering that it was reckless loaning at the insistence of the Democrats that caused the housing bubble, toxic mortgages, and the eventual crash in the economy.

Look at the Democrats most recent loan deal - Solyndra.

    How did that work out?

And Obama is still defending it !!!
