Mr. Jobs was a true visionary who revolutionized the computer industry. I remember when I first joined the Macintosh community in 2007 and realized how much better computers could be. I have, in the past, owned an iPod and an iPhone, but now the only Apple product I own is my MacBook. I remember when I had my iPhone and I first opened it and then hacked it to run on T-Mobile. It was such a sexy phone. I never before thought a phone could be so fun and multi-functional. Thanks to Mr. Jobs, the world is a better place.

I was saddened to hear this news. My oldest Mac I own is an original Mac I got from my grandma.
I was using their products before it was cool to do so.

IN church tonight though we were talking about those who love the world, who desire the things of the world.
Perhaps no one ever attained worldly success as Jobs did and yet without Christ it does him no good now.

THis should be cause for us all to think about our own priorities.

Having worked with a few Fortune 500 CEOs, and observed many, oddly, Steve Jobs never struck me as the worldly type.

IMHO we will not see another like Steve Jobs in my lifetime. To me he was, in his field, a Beethoven, an Einstein, a Monet a giant who will be long remembered. I was saddened at the news of his death.

Agreed, and sad that he died so young. Can you imagine what thirty or so more years of him brilliance would have produced.

What a blessing it would be to learn one day that in those last quiet hours he gave his heart to the Saviour.
