I've been watching in horror as this story unfolds and keeps getting worse.

Someone with a degree from a Baptist university, a teacher, a female...doing this to her students.

I'm thoroughly disgusted, nauseated and outraged! This brings tears to my eyes. I just got done with an assignment with a group of first graders, so sweet, I'm going to miss them a lot and just cannot FATHOM that a human being that DARES to call herself a Christian, let alone a teacher, would do such a thing.

My faith in humanity is being crushed left and right over the last couple of years. This world is just a cesspool of scumbags living out their horrendously vile fantasies and dark imaginations. I HATE THIS WORLD.

How much longer does this world have to exist before Christ returns and saves us from this mess? The longer I live among people, the less I want to. Where are the decent ones? Who can I trust? Where can I go to be with anyone who still honestly loves the Lord and lives it? Feels like this world just isn't worth the oxygen it takes to keep breathing in it.

I've begged for Christ's return and the end of all this. I wonder what would happen if every single believer all prayed for the same thing at once?

Your faith in humanity should be zero. We must be led by the spirit so we won't fufill the lusts of the flesh, a baptist degree won't help.

That makes for a sad and lonely life. I'd like to think that human beings are capable of amazing things and that these sins are rare, but they're so widespread now. I've like to think that if a person claims Christ, they aren't lying and I can trust that we are brothers and sisters in Christ.

Over and over, that fails. There's gotta be a way to live in this world as a believer and not have to live in fear and hate. That's not what God wants for us and goes against what we're told about having love, joy, and peace. Maybe we live in a time where that is no longer possible though, a time where as Christians, there is too much going on for our spirits not to feel constant turmoil at the state of things.

I don't know. Probably a topic for a different thread of its own.

Strengthen your relationship with Jesus by prayer in your quiet place. Tell Him how you feel about these things and He will give you peace.

Good thought. Maybe this distress this stuff causes is also God's way of getting me to actually try to do something about it too. Hrm.

You wanna see something else that sickens. Go to this website:
    http://stopbaptistpredators.org/index.htm

I'm firmly convinced that it will get worse before the Lord returns.

Take heart, Gina. After all, we've read the back of the Book.
