I think most of us admire people who are willing to openly show their faith. After reading the article do you believe Tim Tebow takes it too far based on scripture.

Or is he being obedient to mat 10:32
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

How do you see such actions, good or not so good?

I remember Deion Sanders scoring touchdowns getting on his knees and raising his hands pointing to God; no one said a word. Baseball players making the sign of the cross etc......<sound of crickets>

Tebow quietly bows his knee, mind you is nothing new in football, and we have a media storm.

I believe the Holy Spirit is using Tebow to convict others. Pray for this young man!

I don't know the guy personally, so I have no reason to doubt Tebow's motives, but I think we do have to be carefull that we're not coming across as making a public display of our own religiosity like the Pharisee's who for pretence made long prayers and sounded a trumpte when they gave alms.

Having said that, you're right in that the media has given other athletes a pass on such public displays. However, there was that super bowl commercial that angered the antichrist media and made him a target for their hatred.

He may think he doesn't need God on the sidelines, but he'll need Him before he leaves this world, or pay dire consequences(Suggs that is).....

Exactly my point. He was a running back for the Falcons, who started charities to buy single mothers homes, and continues his outreach, speaking engagegmnents, witnessing. Hi is a Christian who humbly lets his actions speak for him.
