How big of a problem is it - considering it was a Latin reference to “God”

Interesting. Been Air Force over 20 years, and didn't even know we had a "Rapid Capabilities Group"....

I'm of two minds on the matter...

I'm not too thrilled with the logo to begin with. Is what the Air Force Rapid Capabilties Group does really God's work? If not, why should we be concerned about their continued use of the logo?

I am also pretty tired of self identified groups objecting to what others do and say when there is no harm to anyone in it. Why would atheists care if the word "God" is used if there really is no God?

For the record - obviously God exists. My last statement goes to an atheists belief that there is no God.

Fox again is able to make something out of nothing. Non story. How exactly is God honored by a patch on a military uniform written in a language only academics use with any regularity.

Come on, there is so not anything to this.

How is your unawareness relevant to the OP?
Silly rabbit; think it through. If someone who's been Air Force for over 20 years hasn't heard of a particular office, then how many other offices do we not know about? And that's only in the Air Force; then there's the Army and Navy, which are each bigger than the Air Force.

The atheists are going to have a fun time searching out each and every military office to see if their logos contain the word "God." (that was meant sarcastically, by the way)
