I wonder why they're gossipping about Romney, yet don't seem to mind Obama having all of his school records sealed.

I'm thinking that it may have been completely made up, but I'm going to leave the validity of the story between Romney, and the Lord, as well as Romney's accusers and the Lord.

Hey, if you want to dig up dirt on folks from the past, go to Youtube and search Larry Sinclair. He is a fellow who claims he did cocaine and had sex with Obama back in 1999 when Obama would have been 38 years old.

This has been in the news again, as a court threw out a suit against Larry Sinclair just a few days ago.

    http://www.wnd.com/2012/04/libel-case-against-obamas-gay-accuser-tossed/

These charges made by Sinclair have never been proven false.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Lrf8DbrJH0

Good thing Romney and Obama never ran into each other in school!

Edit- View part 2 of Larry Sinclair's interview on Youtube where he discusses the lie detector test discussed in the WND article above. These statements are the basis of the law suit against Larry Sinclair that were thrown out just a few days ago.

I think we can all safely say we have things from our high school days we aren't proud of and can repent of in our lives.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that's why politics is ridiculous today. And probably why I'd never run. You know, besides the fact I couldn't sucker enough people to vote for me!

Is there anyway that they would have posted a similar type story on Obama?

    Not likely.

I'm actually a bit encouraged by this story appearing. Every liberal media organization in the country has been working as hard they can for months to dig up dirt against Romney. If this is the best they could come up with, something that he allegedly did IN HIGH SCHOOL, ol' Mitt must be pretty clean!

As it turns out the story is questionable at best and the title of the op is incorrect. Romney actually said that he did not remember doing it but if he did remember he would be sorry for it. The "witness"s" story is not as it is being reported.

"A question emerges in reading the Washington Post piece on Mitt Romney today: How can Romney’s old pal Stu White tell the Washington Post that he has “long been bothered by the Lauber incident” — and then later admit to ABC News that he was “not present for the prank” and “was not aware of it until this year when he was contacted by the Washington Post”? "

"One of the “witnesses” used in the Washington Post hit piece seems to have thrown a wrench in the narrative. Stu White, a Romney friend, has this to say: "White was not present for the prank, in which Romney is said to have forcefully cut a student’s long hair and was not aware of it until this year when he was contacted by the Washington Post."

I guess that Crabby will have to go back to searching the web all day and night until he can find another anti-Romney screed.

This post should probably be in "All Other Discussions" because it is neither news nor current events.

Does Crabby know that Obama admits that he bullied a girl?

    In Obama's own words:
“I’m not her boyfriend!” I shouted. I ran up to Coretta and gave her a slight shove; she staggered back and looked up at me, but still said nothing. “Leave me alone!” I shouted again. And suddenly Coretta was running, faster and faster, until she disappeared from sight. Appreciative laughs rose around me. Then the bell rang, and the teachers appeared to round us back to class."

Now Crabby can either ignore the above or proceed to tell us how far less serious it is than what Romney supposedly did.

    This stoey is imploding.

    ...
So the Washington Post did what no reputable newspaper should ever do when caught falsifying testimony: it made a stealth correction to its own article. The article now reads:

“I always enjoyed his pranks,” said Stu White, a popular friend of Romney’s who went on to a career as a public school teacher and said he has been “disturbed” by the Lauber incident since hearing about it several weeks ago, before being contacted by The Washington Post. “But I was not the brunt of any of his pranks.” [emphasis added]

The Post did not note that it had made any correction to the article.

It was irresponsible of the Post to run the hit piece in the first place, especially given its obvious bias; to retract a critical phrase and replace it without noting the retraction is just as bad.

But it gets worse. Tonight, Christine Lauber, John Lauber’s sister, said that she didn’t know anything about the bullying incident. More importantly, she said that the story had factual inaccuracies. Betsy Lauber, another of John’s sisters, told ABC News, “The family of John Lauber is releasing a statement saying the portrayal of John is factually incorrect and we are aggrieved that he would be used to further a political agenda. There will be no more comments from the family.” Said Christine, “If he were alive today, he would be furious [about the story].” Jason Horowitz, the reporter on the Post story, did speak to both sisters and quoted them in the story – but apparently still botched the facts.

The Post piece implies that the Romney incident was somehow the beginning of the end for Lauber:...
