I read and re-read the article and I don't see where it says that she actually is a U.S citizen.

The article only says that she wants the court to declare that she is a citizen.

It is sort of difficult to have a US birth certificate and not be born here.

    No, it's not.

Illegal aliens routinely have forged birth cirtificates, SS cards, and drivers licenses.

What is the source for your claim about birth certificates?

I dunno... Obama did it.

Seriously, why do you think that forging a birth certificate is more difficult than forging social security cards, drivers licenses, college degrees, etc?

The point of the story should be that the woman signed papers after 7 hours of being screamed at. Statements signed under duress are not admitted as evidence in court. Of course, courts have no jurisdiction in our military dictatorship.

While I don't believe we as of yet have a military dictatorship I do believe it is coming. The rest you said I agree with.

You would think that in the modern computer age that the Border Patrol would be able to quickly verify if a person was born in the U.S. or not.

Now, if they scanned for Obama, they might get a few surprises.

Why do you suppose that border agents who pretty much allow illegals to cross the border at will...

Would then hold a U.S citizen, who is in possession of her birth certificate, for seven hours and then finally decide to deny her entrance into her home country?

Why is this story credible to you?

Are there other reasonable explanations possible?

Perhaps they did not believe her birth certificate?

Or the rest of her paperwork did not match her birth certificate?

    You are lazy.

    There are many sources.

I'll give you one, then stand by as you try to explain it away.

    http://www.cis.org/identitytheft

This Backgrounder examines illegal immigration-related document fraud and identity theft that is committed primarily for the purpose of employment. It debunks three common misconceptions: illegal aliens are “undocumented;” the transgressions committed by illegal aliens to obtain jobs are minor; and illegal-alien document fraud and identity theft are victimless crimes. It discusses how some community leaders rationalize these crimes, contributing to a deterioration of the respect for laws in our nation, and presents a variety of remedies, including more widespread electronic verification of work status (E-Verify and the Social Security Number Verification Service) and immigrant outreach programs to explain the ramifications and risks of document fraud and identity theft.

    The findings include:

•Illegal immigrants are not “undocumented.” They have fraudulent documents such as counterfeit Social Security cards, forged drivers licenses, fake “green cards,” and phony birth certificates. Experts suggest that approximately 75 percent of working-age illegal aliens use fraudulent Social Security cards to obtain employment.

•Most (98 percent) Social Security number (SSN) thieves use their own names with stolen numbers. The federal E-Verify program, now mandated in only 14 states, can detect this fraud. Universal, mandatory use of E-Verify would curb this and stop virtually 100 percent of child identity theft.

Illegals can and do obtain falsified documentation that goes over quite well. It's hilariously easy. It always amazed me that nobody thought/thinks anything about a mass group of people that all have the exact same name. "Oh, it must be a popular name for that race." Even John Smith or Jane Doe has nothing on the percentage of same names per some groups! There's a reason for that, and it's not because they were born that way.

It is quite common to find someone else to take a driver's test to obtain a license. Go to any small town where people are predominantly white, and it's almost a guarantee that the worker at the counter cannot tell the difference between one person and another if they're not white because "they all look alike" in their eyes.

Do you REALLY think a ship jumper literally jumps off a ship and just runs really fast and doesn't get caught? Have the papers set up and ready, walk off for your free 30 minutes or whatever gets allotted, have the papers and ticket handed to you, and you're boarded and flying before anyone does the crew count.

Your statement is false. Border agents do not pretty much allow illegals to cross at will. I am not sure where you got that idea.
AS for her papers if they were false or not in order you can be sure the report would have stated such. She was tortured into confessing a false statement based on the story. After 7 hours of being held against her will she gave in.

It could be anything from a total military rule with someone in the military in charge to the government using the military to rule the people as in Cuba or much like China does instead of the people ruling the government.
We are seeing it more and more take shape in things like home land security, and TSA as they broaden their oversight on the America people.

    Yes, of course.

U.S border agents are well known for torturing U.S. citizens before turning them back.

So if "her papers were false" the report surely would have said so?

The report did not state that her "papers" were vaild.

Using your logic then if "her papers were valid" then the report would have said so.

What you have here is nothing more than a press release by some attorney that has taken up her case to have a judge declare her to be a citizen.

Now define it in regards to this country we both live in; and if you're espousing your first choice, you'll have to explain how you think that would come to fruition. Secondly, you'll have to explain how there's a similarity with Cuba and China, who are both overtly military-controlled regimes; whereas, HomeLand Security (much less Border Patrol, the object of your opening post) is a civilian agency.

And yes, it's germaine to your issue, because your OP identifies military dictatorship.

I assume you feel it could not happen. If so please explain why?

Every time you are asked for a source you tell everyone else to look it up themselves. Physician heal thyself.
