    Say it isn't so.

Border Patrol ordered to "run and hide", possibly "throw things" at shooters in public places.

Yes, and I am wondering about the motive.

Is it to give the impression that the Border Patrol is a bunch of sissies?

    What is going on here?

The articles about it say that those who made the ruling are thinking of the saving of lives.

How about bringing down the shooter by whatever means possible to save the lives of those that he/she would have killed on their murderous rampage??

Since the left does not work off of reason and prudence but only emotion and ideology it is anybody's guess.

The Border Patrol isn't "law enforcement"?

I believe they want to tie the hands of the Border Patrol because they are "Border Patrol". This is all part of keeping our border wide open. This will of course drive BP agents to go look for other jobs.

Not so sure about that. Why would I want to look for another job when the government is paying me to do something, but doesn't actually want me to do it?

And if you follow my drift--isn't that the mindset they want us in anyway?

Well, after all, we can't have the Border Patrol shooting people just because those people are shooting at them. Criminals have the right to shoot at law abiding people, but shooting them would be violating their rights. After all, we must show the illegals how cowardly Americans are.

    Is that sufficiently sarcastic?

Yes it was totally insensitive of me.
I guess I'll have to volunteer for some community service.

Note it is the Border Patrol LABOR UNION that is making the protest.

I can think of a few DC beltway politicans that they can throw over the Mexican border.

    Union?

Well that explains why nothing is being done to secure the borders.

Thanks for being man enough to point that out, billwald.

    Agreed.

But there are probably many others looking for a job where you don't have to do what is expected of you
