Been here since December of 2004 trying to share more light than heat. Even though that will be 8 years this December, I'm only just now approaching the 1000 post mark. What I lack in quantity I try to make up in quality. Seriously, this forum has been a blessing to me and I appreciate both the friends (and the not-so-friends):smilewinkgrin: that I have here. I need all the fellowship I can get.

I will say though that sometimes I go out of the translations forum feeling as if someone had just ripped strips of skin off my backside....yikes!!

I wish I knew the year, but it was among the first members enrolled. When the ownership changed several of us were booted out. Fortunately I was able too get back in and keep my name.

The owner originally was a strong Baptist accountant friend of Barnaby..whose name was also Barnaby. He was in
New York at the time and moved a little further north in New York.

I have seen changes over the years, in both members and contributions and a few controversies.

Some of the join dates are just slightly inaccurate, as the board went down a bit after it started and a number of people needed to rejoin. I think that was when there were still only a few hundred though.
