    Made me sad too, Arbo! She was a gorgeous vessel and I believe had been built from some of the original specs.

    Her topmasts on up seem to be missing, but there's not the debris there that should be if she were dismasted. Can't tell if they had any sail set- one picture looks like they did while another looks like they didn't. According to the article, it sounds like the bilge pump would've been out. Whatever the cause, it sounds like the sea was just too much for her.
