People have been trying to raise that alarm for the last 2 years. The people don't care. I suspect we'll be there in less than 2 years. Look at the fiscal disaster that is due to hit in January.

We also need to consider the likelihood of Obama being able to put more people on the SCOTUS. You can guarantee they will see the Constitution as silly puddy.

Obama has put an import duty on some Chinese imports - the first corrective step since the Bush disaster.

I'd be more impressed if he did a budget. And its about time liberals grew up and quit blaming Bush.

Budget bills are suggestions. Appropriation bills are laws. Stop looking at the dancing bears.

It's worth noting that Greece cannot print their own money. The comparison is apples and oranges. Japan is well over 200% without Greek attributes.

I certainly hope so. I don't want to live in the 21st century inhibited by 18th century thought.

Uhmmmm, that's 300 years or so. Are we even more inhibited by thought from 2,000 years ago?

That's what's wrong with us today, IMO. Everything has to be "modern", "up-to-date", "progressive" or any other such label that describes treating the Bible and the Constitution as dusty old documents.

Man's modern thinking and understanding ......
We all are tasting the fruit of that vine. Isn't very sweet, is it?

If you think a budget can get done without the President's leading I don't know what to tell you.

When US median wage drops another $5 hour we will be well on our way to a 19th century economic/social system.
