Painting Depicts Obama as Crucified Christ

    A painting that features President Obama posed as Jesus Christ crucified on is on display at a community college art gallery in Boston.

    The painting by Michael D’Antuono is part of a larger exhibit called “Artists on the Stump – the Road to the White House 2012.” It’s on display at the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery until Dec. 15th.

    The painting is called “Truth” – and shows the president with his arms outstretched. A crown of thorns rests on his head.

    It was originally supposed to debut nearly four years ago at New York City’s Union Square. But that event was cancelled due to public outrage.

    The left has compared him to Jesus, Reagan, and Lincoln. If you question him or anyone in his admin you are racist.

    (reminds me if a thread on this board about a particular theologian. If you question him you are unread, unacademic, and just plain ignorant.)

    When you have no basis in reality to prop someone up you use exaggerations and personal attacks. Obama's capabilities are completely exaggerated and if you question that you are a racist. They just want to shut you up.

    The left is delusional.

    The IP is about a painting. The text of the IP infers this painting has artistic merit.

    It doesn't appear to be a good painting. I don't think many copies will be sold.

    On the other hand, consider Dali's "Crucifixion" and "Last Supper."

    Dali was an evil, probably insane person, but these two paintings are wonderful, amazing . . . truth is where you find it.
