    why not ?
    I'm against the practice of homosexuality, same sex marriage, and all that crap going around right now.
    But if the military admitted them into the service, whether aware or not that they were homosexuals, and they served faithfully and with distinction without regard for their sexual tendencies or practices, I do not see why their beneficiaries should be denied what is lawfully theirs, most especially under the current environment where don't ask, don't tell has been repealed.

    If someone serves, their family should get benefits. Period.
