Judith, don't get to mad at the military. From years of indoctrination in government schools and so many anti God colleges around what would one think would happen. Where do we get most of our leaders and military folks, from our John Dewey schools and the same type of college.
My generation didn't listen to our parents and preachers, we were more into giving our children more than what we had and being hip or something. If you put garbage into the can, guess what you will get garbage out. That is where we are today or that is my view.

I am not mad at the military. I am concerned over the lack of concern in the church. If this had happened 30 years ago these people would have been run out of the military. Today people are sayig don't get upset.

This is just another sign of the downward spirial we're in today. I can look back for 60+ years. It's dishearting to see just how much is acceptable today that would have brought outrage from John Q Public when I was a kid.

It's the old frogs in a pot story, repeated over and over again. Doesn't matter if it's the military, education system, church (in general), political system, or just about anything else you can name.

* Desi & Lucy slept in twin beds compared to soft porn in soap operas & prime time.

* Jeannie couldn't show her belly button compared to what can be seen today.

* Elvis was shown from the waist up compared to Dancing with the Stars.

This is just one example, pulled from TV shows. Used it because media has probably contributed more to acceptance of those statements by the military than any other factor. Education system, as Bob noted, comes in at a close second, IMO.

He's right. Regardless of the source of the garbage it's still GIGO.
