In addition to Samathers and JFCWatchdog,James White has been keeping rather good track of Ergun's coverup which others such as Geisler have aided and abbeded.

Ergun needs to come clean and repent. Butch is one stubborn guy.

I liked what one comment of the article said :"Something is wrong when someone is filing a lawsuit to protect a lie."

Bury the truth is their attitude. Caner is too big to lose to those bloggers in their mothers' basements.

Caner's indiscretions have made a rather significant black mark in relations with Muslims, particularly for those of us gracious dialogue seeking to speak the Gospel to them.

He's been proven to be less than honest about this and has acted as an immature teenager in the resulting years. This lawsuit has been particularly troubling.

How Caner has justified his continued failure to repent and continues to be allowed to talk to faithful church members is beyond me...but that is how some folks roll.

Actually the only reason you defend Caner the liar is because he is anti-cal just like you. He's lied on several occasions and you can't even blush about that but support him in it. In fact, yours are exactly the same tactics liberal politicians use to defend one another from being exposed.

Caner is an unrepentant liar. He deliberately lied for a decade about his past to multiplied thousands of people. He is not to be protected. He needs to step away from the ministry. He brings disgrace on the Name of Christ. Those who seek to cover for him are in fact sinning.

I know of no one who is covering for him. But in this thread i see those who are gossiping about him in order to destroy him. That is the sin.
