While we argue over which book someone read, or a dance somebody did on T.V., there is actual news happening.

The United States cannot afford to ignore Syria’s chemical weapons usage, an Israeli intelligence minister said in a recent radio interview according to Israel Hayom.

International, Intelligence and Strategic Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz said that a strike on Syria was necessary.(...)

We know this. You know this. Obviously the Israeli Defense Ministry knows this. But does the Great Pretender?

    Probably.

    Does he care?

No. He's more interested in being the downfall of US culture and structure than in doing what is in the best interests of the nation.

I do not think a war with Syria is in our best interest.

We cannot afford it, and it will draw Russia and Iran into it and not with us. But the most important part is we cannot afford it.

What is in our best interests, allowing the hegemonic desires of Iran to reach fulfillment and have a massive Islamic state sponsoring worldwide terrorism sprawled across the belly of Asia?

Do you really believe Russia and Iran can "afford it" either, or wish to seriously challenge US military might toe-to-toe?

Hint: The answer to both questions is "no."

I don't waste time with questions in which the answer has been framed.

Iran will do it differently but Russia will most definitely go "toe to toe". But it matters not because we cannot afford it.

Putin can't afford it, either, and though recently prosperous, can't begin to fight 21st century American technology Afghani War surplus. And he knows it.

This situation has me a bit fearful. It seems to me to be lose-lose.

I don't know what Putin can afford, but I know that he does not make statements frivolously like Iran does.

Which is why he will give "warnings," posture, puff up and, in the end, when push comes to shove, do nothing. Russia won't go toe-to-toe with the US because they know cotton-pickin' well they can't.
