Sheriff’s officials said they would hold a news conference later Wednesday to discuss specific charges.

They need time to make some up.

Not that I approve of what this dingbat is all about, but since when is riding around with a trailer full of qu'rans and a barbeque grill illegal?

From what I read, he had already soaked the 2000+ Qurans with kerosene and was driving around with them seemingly in one of those trailer/bbq's. The sheriff said he was basically driving around with a bomb waiting to happen. Also there was an illegal firearm charge.

If all accurate, no doubts but its early in the reporting, he was being a danger to himself and others.

if there is anything this pastor should learn, he should learn to keep his mouth shut the way Obama should learn to do that, too, and just do what he wants to do. he advertised his plans of action in Facebook (childish, if you ask me), so that cued in the police, who were waiting for him in UNMARKED cars, then pounced on him, and him being ignorant of the laws, got caught with an offense they could bring him in on.
if he hadn't stupidly loaded an already kerosene soaked bundle of cockroach books and a grill in an unregistered trailer, they woulda got him on other charges, like, illegal grin, or too bright a smile, anything at all to please America's sacred cows, the Muslims.

Depends on the state really, though riding around with 2000+ kerosene soaked anything is bound to get you at least detained. The firearm charge is another matter all together, that will get you arrested for sure.

Two thousand "kerosene soaked anything" isn't as serious as a few hundred gallons of kerosene, which I agree should get you detained. But it still doesn't stand up to an arrest.

I took another look at the article (it's from the AP) and noted that they're still trying to stir the stuff with this "factoid":

His congregation did burn the Muslim holy book in March 2011 and last year he promoted an anti-Muslim film.

There was no film. This is the little blurb of a parody short that someone in Jones' church office linked on the church's website. It was the "film" the Great Pretender tried to blame for Benghazi, and eventually had to back off of when too many eyewitnesses came forward saying Benghazi never was a "peaceful protest" morphed into a deadly attack. It started out as a deadly attack. AP is still carrying water for the loser occupying the White House. If articles of impeachment were ever filed introduced in the House, half the networks and cable news channels would refuse to acknowledge its existence.

Don't forget the firearm charge, which I have yet to see any details about.
