I didn't put anything in your mouth. You said they wouldn't and now you're saying they are going to have to. So make up your mind. They're YOUR words.
You must really think people are stupid! You just did it again, trying to reframe my statement and, by doing so, using your words to "prove" i've changed my mind.
I said they -- the Democrats -- won't talk about cutting spending proportionate to the amount of a debt ceiling increase. You said, "they don't have to." I then said they are going to have to talk compromise if they want to get anything done.
That's not "changing my mind" or "contradicting myself" or any of the other nonsense you would attempt to claim it is, but that didn't stop you from trying to characterize the second comment as somehow differing from the first. Because you change, using your own words, what I said, doesn't change what I actually said. That makes you dishonest. Nothing more. Nothing less.
