Scorecard: ACA, 36,000 (maybe), insurance cancellations, 1.5 million

By merely adding up recent media reports, the National Center for Public Policy Research discovered that 1.5 million insurance cancellations have already gone out. These cancellations are all due to the ObamaCare mandate that requires every health insurance policy meet a minimum requirement of a one-size-fits-all Cadillac plan that forces people to pay for coverage they neither want nor need.

During his sales job to pass his signature health insurance plan, President Obama repeatedly and without qualification promised the American people that if you liked your insurance plan, you could keep it. Obama also promised everyone that their premiums would decrease and that he would never raise taxes on the middle class.

Already 1.5 million have had insurance they were happy with stripped from them. If the Congressional Budget Office is correct, this will happen to millions more.

That is one broken promise.
With more to come ...

This goes hand-in-hand with the multiple stories appearing this morning that the Great Pretender, and probably members of Congress who supported the ACA, knew these people would lose their coverage as a result of this misbegotten, illegal legislation.

And CBS News is reporting the number in the Breitbart article above is wrong -- to the low end:

CBS says that's "triple the number" who have bought policies under the ACA, but there is no evidence that number is anywhere near close. To this date, two and a half weeks after the number first appear, there is no evidence anymore people than the 36,000 first reported have actually purchased insurance through the www.healthcare.gov website.

The reason for the cancellations is Obama is funding his health care on the back of the middle class forcing everyone to buy insurance coverage they do not need. Elderly people should not have to pay for maternity coverage. Yet that is being forced down their throats. In fact I should not have to pay for it either.

And after all this losing insurance plans 30 million will still not be covered.

Anyone who does not see that forcing people to by this stuff is unAmerican does not know what this country was founded on or just does not care.

Exactly. This is spiraling down rapidly. I believe there will be an impeachment bill introduced after the January Congressional call to order in both houses. Perhaps not right away, but long before the elections. I think Articles of Impeachment have a good chance of being passed in the House. There may be enough disgruntled Democrats fearful for their jobs in the Senate to join the Republicans in conviction proceedings, but I doubt it at this point. Things could change, though. They seem to be doing so daily.
