Smith said his practice will go independent within the next several months.

“More and more companies are running away from Obamacare to this oasis called self-funding,” he added. “We don’t believe the government has any role in health care.”

“We’ve tried just about every insurance, but we hope that within the next 12 to 18 months none of our business will be dependent on them,” Smith added.

The Medical Director has since listed prices online “for everyone to see,” but says if that doesn’t work, he won’t hesitate to close and stop his practice.

“If the practice of medicine is no longer mutual, then we will close. We’ll just walk away,” Smith said.

On the Fox News Huckabee show yesterday there were 3 doctors interviewed - one who had already left the medical profession and two who felt that they may have to leave as well and were preparing for the departure.

Besides all new medical codes, and an overrun of regulations, the biggest complaint was the paperwork which they calculated would take upwards of 25-30% of their time and resource to complete.
