As I said in an earlier thread, he can't order insurers to "undo" what has already been "undone." Essentially, all he is doing is saying "You can't cancel those policies" when in reality, it's too late. The insurers and providers have already negotiated coverage for next year, and going back to the old policies is impossible. Pay-out rates, coverage, exceptions, etc. have already been written for 2014. They can't reset the clock as easily as this airhead in the White House thinks they can.Oregon Democrat Sen. Jeff Merkley believes the president’s 1-year fix doesn’t go far enough.
“It doesn’t go as far as I’d like but it’s a step in the right direction,” Merkley said.
U.S. Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, says he’s still “concerned about people having policies which don’t do anything. They’re just junk policies.”
Harkin, echoed the frustration he says many in his party have with the rollout but added, “I want it fixed so the Affordable Care Act will succeed … not be torn down.”
He also said he didn’t think the president’s latest ObamaCare do-over was wise.
“I don’t think we should have done what we did today, quite frankly,” he said.
The Great Pretender thinks all he needs to do is speak, and things happen. That's another drawback to never having had a real job. He doesn't even know how stupid he is.
