GOP senator slams DHS over alleged 'human smuggling conspiracy'

The Obama administration’s alleged practice of transporting smuggled children to their illegal immigrant parents in the U.S. has caught the attention of Congress, with a Republican senator likening the practice to the “disastrous” Operation Fast and Furious.

In a letter obtained by FoxNews.com, Sen. David Vitter, R-La., asked newly confirmed Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson a string of questions about the apparent policy. The practice came to light last month after a federal judge in Texas claimed immigration agents were intercepting human smugglers transporting children at the U.S.-Mexico border -- and then delivering those children to illegal immigrant parents in the U.S.

“I am shocked to learn that the federal government is a participant in an international human smuggling conspiracy,” Vitter wrote. “I cannot imagine a case in which such a policy would be in accordance with the established mission of the Department, particularly since this encourages additional smuggling and the sometimes extreme abuse of the smuggled children involved.”
So the DHS is now engaging in aiding and abetting illegal immigrants in their efforts to enter the U.S. through any by ICE-approved means? Great googly-moogly!

“I am particularly surprised that a federal agency would assist an international criminal conspiracy after the disastrous Operation Fast & Furious directly resulted in the heinous murder of CBP Agent Brian Terry in December 2010,” Vitter wrote.
Yeah but ya know the republicans would rather hold their nose and let the guilty walk to win elections than hold these creatures responsible and risk losing their own "seats".

All talk no action. "Look at what the evil dems are doing elect me elect me". Gutless wonders all. Talk about hypocrisy. What a sick joke.

The reason the republicans won't hold the criminal democrats accountable for their role in an "international conspiracy that resulted in a heinous murder" is because they themselves are complicit in assisting an "international conspiracy that resulted in the heinous deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi men women and children. USA! USA! USA! Hooah!

The powers that be, in the GOP, have no interest in anything but retaining their lucrative positions, fame, power, influence. The are like the Courtiers of the Old World.

They work for the same international banks and corporations the democrats do. Changing the party in power doesn't stop the steady march into tyranny.

It's like the democrats and republicans are in some kind of competition to see which party can bring about a globalist backed totalitarian state the fastest.

We have the democratic authoritarian party and the republican authoritarian party. Talk about freedom or liberty and you are branded a danger to national security by all of them.

This is the same argument the Nazis used against anyone that didn't go along with their evil agenda and both major "American" parties use it now.
