Please help confirm--USPS Buying Ammo

    Don't recall where I first saw this; may have been Drudge. The main link went to Infowars, which is extremely antigovernment biased. Subsequent searches led to a couple of other sources; but most referred back to the Infowars article.

    Can anyone find an un-biased source (or, at least one less biased than Infowars) to confirm this story? And if it's true, why would the USPS, even with its investigative branch (USPIS) need a couple of dump truck loads of ammo?

    In the InfoWars article, there is a link to the GSA bid order. It's classified as a "Presolicitation Notice," which means they haven't determined an amount of purchase, or at least made it public yet.

    Assorted Small Arms Ammunition
    Solicitation Number: 3CD-14-A-0009

    It is, apparently, for real. However, InfoWars irrational speculations about the amount of ammunition to be purchased are, as usual, unconfirmable. It appears to be a normal buy order from the USPS investigative service. It isn't any "great conspiracy" as InfoWars and one of our "astute" members would undoubtedly be touting right now if he was around.

    Look if you all are so in love with the illegitimate government we have why don't you just stop your whining about it all the time? You're getting what you asked for.

    You wanted a dictatorship under Bush and you got it. Now you're all whining because a democrat is using the power you gave Bush. Get over it. You wanted a unitary presidency. So quit acting like little girls and enjoy getting what you deserve.
