I have to wonder if Rick Warren misread his Spiritual Gifts Inventory and should have sought after being a CEO of a business instead of a pastor. He revers business execs more than theologians it seems and he would rather preach a series on marriage, finance or sex than Christian doctrine. I think he missed his calling or should I say I wish he would be a CEO of a business.

Look how he is having speak in his church; Ariana Huffington. WOW!

If all these seeker friendly pastors would pull out of the church and seek their CEO path, I think many of the goats would follow them for they are following a method or a program and not God. IMO

It wasn't a church service, it took place on Saturday. Maybe Saddleback Church has great facilities to host an event like this. My church rents out their auditorium for high school graduation ceremonies, for example. Attendees might be curious about Saddleback and come back and wind up hearing the gospel. What's wrong with that?

He didn't rent out his church, he lead a seminar or conference from his church and brought in extreme liberal Huffington. Is he a pastor or a CEO?

    He's a pastor.

What exactly is he doing that is sin, wrong, or immoral?

I don't agree with liberals, but does that make them sinners? There are a lot of Democrats/liberals who are good solid Christians, Rick.

I can tell you one thing. Saddleback church is winning people to Christ and making disciples.

I can go ahead and answer that. The kind if disciples that are willing to serve selflessly. The kind that comes out to the reservation and builds wood sheds, remodels churches, and works to support pastors who have boots on the ground day in and day out. They are the kind that provides needed resources to churches on the res that churches otherwise would not have.

Rick Warren may not do everything perfect, or how others might like. But he and his church are actually being the church.

As per my question, I presume you are categorizing this as being wrong and not categorizing as sin or immoral. Lining up with Ariana Huffington as to how to grow a business and motivate people has nothing to do with doctrinal things.
