BREAKING: Feds to Stand Down from Bundy Ranch in Nevada

    The Bureau of Land Management has announced it would not enforce a court order to remove Cliven Bundy’s cattle and was pulling out of the area., defusing the nearly week-long siege on the Nevada ranch.

    The BLM made the announcement Saturday morning, a week after rangers started gathering the animals from land near Gold Butte.

    The agency says it is “concerned about the safety of its employees and the public”. Earlier this week, BLM officers with attack dogs and supporters of the Bundy family were involved in a nasty confrontation. Cliven Bundy’s son, Ammon Bundy, was tased twice by federal agents. A pregnant woman was also thrown to the ground by an officer.

    This stand down order is happening with curious rapidity after a website exposed the possible inside dealing between Nevada Senator and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, his son Rory, and a Chinese company in order to make a $5 billion deal for a massive solar farm on a portion of the Bundy Ranch.

    Actually I posted a link on this in the other thread, but what happened is that the sherrif of that county finally ordered these people off the this man's land.

    I would not consider this matter closed - YET!!!
    This poor rancher will probably be surreptiously attacked by some other agency after it has been quiet for a few weeks.
    Yes, I am cynical; especially as regards this corrupt administration!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

    Federal SWAT Team Backs Down In Armed Standoff With Militia, Will Return Cattle

    According to Brandon Darby of Breitbart news, a Federal SWAT Team has agreed to retreat from a tension ridden stand-off with protesters.

    1:01pm Pacific – “It was strange to see armed ranchers and militias stand off against a federal SWAT team under a bridge in a desert wash,” Darby said. “After a few tense moments, the feds agreed to retreat and allow the ranchers and the militia to guide the remaining cattle back to tracts of land used by the Bundy ranch. Both sides were demanding the other disarm first. Both the ranchers and law enforcement refused; ultimately the federal agents began to walk backwards behind retreating vehicles and leave the area.

    The Bundy family has also been informed that their cattle will be returned.

    …they allowed a member of the Bundy family to travel a half-mile back beyond the conflict area and to see the family’s cattle. The family member returned and made the announcement that the family would receive the remaining heads of cattle and he requested that the ranchers and militia help corral and guide the cattle back.”

    Is this the ranchers land or is it gov. Land that he is running cattle on?

    The land is public land. The federal government claims ownership, but said ownership violates Article 1 Section 8 of the US Constitution. According to the Constitution, the ownership of the land is deeded either to the state of Nevada or to the people of Nevada collectively.

    However, since the rancher's family has used that land as their own since 1887 (And the BLM was not created until 1977) the rancher has a valid homestead claim to the land, IE, as one of "the people."

    The issue is that Harry Reid, whose son is chief counsel for a Chinese company who wants the land to build a power plant, enriching both Reid and his son. So Reid called the Director of BLM (who just happens to be his former staff member and adviser) to have the rancher run off.

    Corrupt politics as usual.

    You should have stuck with Prison Planet on this one Rev. It had much better access and provided far more details than the lamestream media.

    Fox News blatantly lies about the federal standoff in Nevada by reporting that the BLM stood down and gave back the Bundy’s cattle because they were afraid for the safety of the public. This is pure propaganda, the BLM were threatening to shoot the protestors while hiding behind their vehicles.
