The new poll released Monday by FOX News asks voters who they would vote for if the only difference between two congressional candidates is that one promises to fight for Obamacare, while the other candidate promises to fight against it. Independent voters said they’d vote for the anti-Obamacare candidate 54% – 29%.

Silly FOX News still trying to get folks heated about Obamacare because the GOP has no ideas and has to convince folks to vote out of fear. Aren't these the same folks who were complaining about the Democrats running ads of little old ladies in wheelchairs getting pushed over cliffs?

Not true, Zaac. The republicans have offered numerous bills to repeal and replace Zerocare. The DESPICABLE Harry Reid will not bring any to a vote.

Surely you know this. Don't know why you would be so dishonest.

I am wondering if there is a single post of his that is not for the sole purpose of criticizing other posts. That is his sole purpose for being here.

Who said I didn't know that? It's not going away. This is just a lame excuse to keep people fired up. Americans realize that the GOP isn't gonna do anything about Obamacare. Like abortion, it's now a political tool that's gonna go quite a way in pandering for voting blocs.

Gosh, folks in New Mexico tend to post a lot so there's often a lot of crazy posts for me to straighten out.

The problem is, a real election is not based on a single poll question. The Democrats are very good at demonizing the Republicans. When Republicans give sound reasons to overthrow or reform Obamacare, the Democrats will show Republicans throwing Grandma off the cliff.

As untrue and as unfair as this ad is, folks eat this stuff up.

Wow, Zaac. First you say they have no ideas. When corrected on that you change the subject to "They won't do anything".

Obamacare won't work. That's what people are realizing. They want no part of it. You most likely think they're all sinners and evil because they reject it.

But the millions of folks who have had their insurance cancelled know now who rolled them over the cliff.

Watch, the Democrats will come out with ads blaming the Republicans for being in cahoots with the insurance companies to cancel their coverage.

Zaac know just as much about what Republicans will do with obamacare as he does about what Republicans have done with abortion. In both cases he knows nothing. He just wants to inflame and get a rise out of people.

We have to counter the lies with truth. Even when other Christians call us "evil" for it.

I agree, but you cannot do that at the last minute during an election. The Republicans need to educate people all the time. They should spend a little money showing ads that explain why Republican ideas are better. Not attack ads, but very simple, common sense ads folks can understand.

But at election time it is just one attack ad after the other. The best liar always wins.

I agree. I just think the GOP has wasted too much time moving on this issue and it becomes like a Roe vs Wade where they are always talking about doing something but that something never amounts to much of anything.

If Obamacare is the only issue the GOP has to tout, then they are in big trouble. Everyone knows they are against Obamacare, but no one knows what they are for. Other factor come into play than just Obamacare when it comes to an election. The poll is of little meaning at this point in time. We are still too far away from the election.

The title is very misleading ... journalist's license I guess.

Precisely. The GOP is constantly on the defensive against something or to try and fix what they think the Dems have broken. There never seems to be anything original like back when Newt and his guys brokered the Contract with America.

It just gets old. They've been talking about abortion since 1974 but realized that just talking about it garners them more clout with certain blocs than would actually doing something about it. That's what Obamacare has become. Even the name they've penned to it is about politics and furter enraging a certain demographic in order to get/keep votes.

There's just no substance. I'll just keep writing folks in I guess.

If you really want abortion ended, you will think in 20 year terms. We have to get a Supreme Court to overturn Roe vs. Wade.

The ACA is not comparable, due to the fact that it can be overturned with an up or down vote.

And not to nit-pick, but the Dems are the ones in trouble.

Abortion is coming to an end within the states. Abortion clinics cannot function within reasonable medical constraints. Everywhere abortion is brought under the light of normal medical practices the abortion mills close down. Abortion mills are being shut down left and right all over the country. There are far fewer abortion mills today than there were 10 years ago.
