Lots of fear and uncertainty out there.

What nation do you fear will negatively affect you and your family and the nation the most over the next 10 to 25 years?

The answer to that one is simple. My "government." Or rather, my dictatorship.

While the history of the 20th century is that governments murdered millions of their own citizens, the most dangerous enemy of the USA remains Russia.

The Russians aren't claiming the authority to imprison and or execute American citizens without due process anywhere in the world.

    That's our own government.

The Russians aren't training our police that returning veterans, libertarians and constitutionalists are now a bigger threat to our security than Al Qaeda.

    That's our own government.

The Russians aren't the ones using radical Islamists who persecute Christians as proxy forces to carry out regime changes in other countries.

    That's our own government.

The "war on terrorism" has lost it's luster. People are beginning to wonder why Washington is sponsoring terrorists abroad while using them as boogeymen back home to expand and consolidate it's power over it's own citizens.

Out with the old menace and in with the new menace. Or in this case a reconstituted menace to keep our eyes diverted from the real threat to world peace.

The neocons and their corporate partners.

The simple truth is that Obama is no match for Putin and Obama cannot comprehend the danger of the Muslim Brotherhood in the USA or worldwide. Obama is a sort of Neville Chamberlain type except that Obama is Chicago cynical inside and Chamberlain was just naïve.

Your simple truth seems to avoid the fact that republicans are just as responsible for funding and arming terrorist as the democrats.

It's been a bipartisan policy all along, at least they agree on something. Right?

The United States is the greatest threat to world peace. That’s the finding of an end-of-the- year, WIN/Gallup International survey of people in 65 countries.
Of the 66,000 people polled, just under a quarter named Uncle Sam as the greatest threat to world peace.

Other menaces didn’t even come close: 8 percent named Pakistan, putting that country in second place, while 6 percent named China. A mere 4 percent found Iran threatening — which tied it with Israel.

Bush was the President, along with Cheney, who turned the whole world, including our traditional allies against us. He maded the terrorist threat much worse and gave us the "Patriot Act," which took away our most important freedoms.

And Obama is more unpopular among our allies than Bush ever was.

I originally answered "American Gov", however the Chinese are very capable of affecting us in many ways that our own (assuming you are all Americans) won't. Like cyber attacks against banks and infrastructure. I say it's a toss up between the two.

Yeah the Saudi Monarchy and Al Qaeda.

We agree that Obama is no match for Putin. And I know what you said about the Muslim Brotherhood. And I know you left part of the simple truth out of your statement and I'm pretty sure I know why. You put forward a "redacted version" of the simple truth.

The whole simple truth is that both democrats and republicans are equally responsible for funding and arming Islamic radicals.

In the 21st century Americans’ worst enemies are not al Qaeda, Iran, Russia, and China. America’s worst enemies are our own presidents who have declared repeatedly that the orchestrated “war on terror” gives them the right to set aside the civil liberties guaranteed to every citizen by the US Constitution. Presidential disrespect for the US Constitution is so extreme that Obama has nominated David Barron to the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Barron is the Justice (sic) Department official who wrote the memos fabricating a legal justification for the Office of President to murder US citizens without due process of law.

Having stripped US citizens of their civil liberties, executive branch agencies are now stocking up vast amounts of ammunition, and the Department of Agriculture has placed an order for submachine guns. The Department for Homeland Security has acquired 2,717 mine-resistant armored personnel carriers. Congress and the media are not interested in why the executive branch is arming itself so heavily against the American people.
