Sorry - I get into reading on a topic on my own sometimes and don't consider that not everyone is reading about it.

The news should be posting about the sanctions. Somewhere. For whatever reasons, the situation in Venezuela is not making much noise in the U.S. media. Here is the bill for the sanctions: http://beta.congress.gov/bill/113th-congress/senate-bill/2142/text

I feel it is messed up because the United States is guilty of the same types of actions they claim need in their findings against Venezuela. These findings are listed in section two of the text.

I have posted several threads on Venezuela and how the Cubans are all but running things down there because the Cubans have Soviet-trained experts in domestic terror.

The government has murdered many people and many others are missing. In spite of their oil wealth, Venezuelans are poorer than ever with vast shortages of everything needed for life. Electrical outages are very common. The official murder rate is very high and one wonders what the unofficial murder rate is? The police are as lawless as the criminals.

Even the Chavistas are worried about the direction that the Castros are plotting for Venezuela.

The last election was so crooked that Maduro refused to recount it. An opposition candidate for President, a charismatic natural leader, has been imprisoned for a couple of months now.

It is no wonder that it is called Cubazuela. The American press is not carrying the story because Obama and Carter support Maduro.

If this had taken place in America CMG would be on the authoritarian's side.

For instance. He and his fellow neoconservative interventionists seem to be just fine with how things are turning out in Nulandistan. They were the first on the "demonize Russia" and everyone else bandwagon that said wait a minute . . . why has Washington teamed up with neo nazis?

Let the people of Venezuela sort this out and keep the international bankers and corporations out of it or we may just see another "night of the long knives" taking place in Venezuela like is taking place in Ukraine, Lybia, Syria and Iraq today ala Washington's century of interventionism.

Here is a dramatic video of just over five minutes that shows the plight of the common people under the leftist/communist government of Venezuela. The Vice-President of Venezuela recently said that the Cubans in Venezuela are there to stay as they provide Soviet expertise in domestic repression.

Leopoldo Lopez has been in jail for two months because he is the popular leader of Venezuela and stands opposed to the crooked election of Maduro after the death of Chavez. Iran and Russia as well as China are hoping to gain a foothold in Latin America. Caracas is a portal for the products of narcoterrorists to be distributed worldwide.

It is very sad the murder and criminality of the Venezuelan government and the plight of the common people. Even some of Hugo's supporters are concerned about the Castros in Venezuela.

Here is the video "More Love Less Bullets":
