    What have we long suspected?

I agree. But perhaps I'm seeing something that a lot of other Christians are ignoring. I believe judgment is coming because in the midst of all this stuff the Church is acting more and more like the world and less and less like Christ.

We've lost our first love in a lot of regards. And it continues to show in our lack of a display of love for anyone who does not meet a POLITICAL standard.

That the agenda of the 'G@y rights' trumps all else--whether it's freedom of speech and religion at home or cultural values abroad. All must bow to legalized sodomy.

True, and in many ways the LGBTQXYZ agenda is just the latest manifestation of this worldly compromise. It was certainly preceded by significant portions of the 'Church' accommodating fornication/etc and accepting abortion.

But this isn't about them. This is about the enemy destroying the family. How has the CHURCH countered this? Via politics or via an attempt to spread the Gospel more and make more disciples who shoot the devil's foolishness down?

Precisely and we just don't seem to be able to figure out that you can't fight a spiritual battle with elections , politicians and laws.

The wickedness of the enemy must be battled by the church in the Spirit.

Indeed. (And we wonder why they call us the 'Great Satan'?)

It is truly ironic that the Obama administration is at once trying to conciliate both the g@ys and the Muslims. In a society in which there has been such a concernted effort to erase the influence of Christianity, we will increasingly be confronted with two rival non-christian forces: Secular Humanism and Islam. I wonder which would prevail--which ideology would motivate its adherants more in the struggle to fill the vacuum left by the removal of our Judeo-Christian heritage? I have a hunch that there will come a day when all the 'peaceful, tolerant, pluralistic types' will long for the day when they only had to worry about us intolerant Christians.

With economic collapse (GPD -%2.9 contraction), Iraq, the IRS and VA scandals, nice to know they’re focusing on the really important issues. Helping to aid the narcissistic tyranny of 2% of the population who voluntarily engage in a favored sexual perversion.

Oh, and speaking of Iraq, aren’t we courting Iran’s help? What do they think of this cultural imperialism that threatens their practice of stoning?

Human rights should trump culture. Much as it was wrong to enslave black people, even though the prevalent culture accepted such.

Ah...the good old (supposed) moral equivalency between enslaving black folks and having the freedom to speak out that homosexual acts are wrong and that homosexual 'marriage' is an oxymoron (and not get sued, fined, or fired).

Where did I advocate limiting your freedom of speech? Answer: I did not.
