House Speaker John Boehner announced Wednesday he plans to file suit against President Obama over his alleged abuse of executive power.

"This is not about impeachment -- it's about him faithfully executing the laws of this country," Boehner said.

The speaker had been weighing such a lawsuit in recent days, over concerns that Obama exceeded his constitutional authority with executive actions.

The lawsuit has not yet been filed. But asked Wednesday whether he intended to proceed, Boehner said: "I am."

The decision to sue would still have to be formally approved by a group of House leaders. Presuming that step is cleared, the suit is expected to be filed in a few weeks.

The plaintiff would be the House of Representatives.

It'll probably be something like" The country is tired of the impasse and the do-nothing Congress. We need to get back to the people's work and a lengthy process of hearings would do nothing but keep us from doing what the people elected us to do."

Pure politics. There has been enough grounds to file such a suit for years.

Yep. It's kinda like every other issue. They never really do anything because if they do something, they lose that issue as a banner to be waved to different voting blocs.

Just another reason why Christians need to wake up and understand that nothing will change for the good until the CHURCH stops focusing so much energy on politics and gets more involved in the Spiritual battle for souls.
