What if these girders had accidently formed the Islamic Crescent, or Buddha ? Would we be fighting to tear them down ?

There would be no legal or constitutional grounds to object to them. It would however become a huge problem given it was Islamists who did that.

Anyway this country was founded on biblical Christian principles. If folks do not like that there is always a plane leaving fro somewhere.
