I think he was wrong, but, I would much rather prefer him than somebody who draws a line in the sand, gets spit on in the face, and goes golfing instead.
Now, I may just have described Obama, and I admit I did, but, the description extends to whoever either party nominates that may do the same thing.
If Cruz runs for the presidency, he might get my vote, and the RINO's may howl and scream like they did sometime ago that the votes should go solidly to their nominee instead of being divided, but, heck, I'd rather my candidate not win, than waste a vote on some wimp, which Cruz, and Gowdy, and some others are not.

I used to agree that a third party vote was a vote for the opposition, BUT, after the GOP's nominations for the '08 & '12 elections, I'm in total agreement with you.
I used to think the Rs were a conservative lot , but it has become obvious that they (GOP leaders anyway) have become nothing more than "Liberal Lite", so I no longer feel any compulsion to support them - unless they can do a better job of nominating than for the last two POTUS elections!
Big shift in my political perspective, but it is what it is!! :BangHead:

We need to separate spiritual Israel from political Israel.

Well he has that right and even if we don't agree with it as that seems to be a poor sport thing. We can agree to disagree and respect his decision.

I guess he doesn't believe that the Jewish people, like Christians in that part of the world, are a minority religion that is on Islam's kill list.

It is evident by Cruz's reception that some middle east "Christians" don't think so either.

Casting my vote for Ted Cruz was the best vote I ever cast.
    The man knows his onions.
He is not afraid of the bullies either, no matter if they are an r or a d.

We need more like him if we wish to reclaim this country.
