The man who may be most responsible for President Barack Obama's rise and eventual ascendancy to the White House is urging him not to enact executive amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants.
On Wednesday, after Republicans shellacked Democrats in the midterms, David Axelrod, Obama's former chief political adviser who had been with him since Obama's 2004 Illinois Senate campaign, said Obama should "shelve" his executive amnesty.

But, now, you see, Obama doesn't need him or care what he thinks.

He has arrived. He is invincible for the next 2 years. Nobody can stop him or penalize him in any way.

No but his image is important to him as well and if people like Axlerod are saying to shelve it then if he were to do it it would make him look bad. Now that Axlerod has said it there is no going back.

I agree, up to a point.

If his image was all that important to him , he has to realize the whole country, maybe the world, is laughing at his claim of a win for his policies in the election.

WEll then there is the issue of surrounding himself with yes men. He lives in a bubble and right now they are all in denial suffering from PTED (Post Traumatic Election Disorder)

If Axelrod had any political sway left with him, he'd probably not be FORMER chief political adviser.
