In the island prison known as Cuba, Daniel Maldonado aka El Sexto (the sixth one) was arrested last month in Havana for taking two pigs to a park.
Now in a place where everyone is hungry unless they are members of the communist party--much like North Korea where they eat grass for lack of food--it is rare that anyone has two pigs.
But Daniel Maldnado is a graffiti artist and a minor political critic. So he painted the name Fidel on one pig and the name Raul on the other pig.
Of course, the humorless communist dictators took this as a personal insult and arrested him and he has been in the Cuban gulag since the first of the year.
It seems to me that the real insult is to the pigs.
